The following steps will help you compose messages to WI DPI staff.

  1. In the Secure Messages dropdown, select Compose.

  2. The message form is opened. Enter the email addresses in the to field. If you setup contacts, they will appear based on the email addresses you enter. Enter a subject which is required. If you setup a signature, it is automatically added to the Message body.

  3. The message form contains the Attached files fields. You can eitehr drag files into the Drop Files Here field or select the Add Files button/link to select friles from your file explorer.

Hover over the Blocked Extensions link to see a list of blocked file extensions.

  1. You can change message expiration settings by date and downloads per recipient.

  2. Select the calendar icon or the date to change the expiration date.

  3. Enter a number in the Message Expires After field to limit the number of downloads for the attached files.

  4. You can make a message private. This limits the recipietns interaction with the message. Sending a private message won’t send your message in the email to the recipient, it will only be visible
