Supporting different API Credentials (key/secret) in different school years

Vendors should have the ability to support different API credentials in different school years, including documentation on how LEAs can switch API credentials to update prior year data.

To regression test vendors' Ed-Fi configuration and ensure that LEAs are able to send data from different school years as needed when they have different API credentials for each year.

REF ID 795 - Pearson API Integration Reading Screener

Integrate Pearson's aimswebPLUS system with the WISEdata Ed-Fi API. The data exchange will cover all students in grade levels 4K-3 who are primarily enrolled in public schools, including Independent Charter Schools (ICS), during the administration period(s).

To support this integration, SIS vendors will be required to collect and report each student’s homeroom information(homeroomIndicator) through the /studentSectionAssociation endpoint, ensuring accurate data for Pearson's aimswebPlus system.

This project will enable seamless integration with Pearson's system (aimswebPLUS) to pull student rostering information and push assessment results through the WISEdata Ed-Fi API, ensuring efficient data exchange between systems.

REF ID 749 - Rigor Level Removal (25-26 SY)

Eliminate the Rigor Level attribute from the course list. DPI will communicate the rigor level changes throughout the 2024-2025 school year. However, the actual removal of rigor levels will be implemented in the 2025-2026 SY, allowing LEAs more time to prepare for this change.

The Rigor Level may be reported on /courseOfferings, using the courseLevelCharacteristics data property.

By eliminating the Rigor Level attribute from the course list, we are streamlining the user experience for LEAs. The resulting shorter and more navigable course list enhances efficiency and user-friendliness.
Additionally, the removal of the rigor level, which is currently not utilized for any reporting purposes, signifies a simplification of the system without compromising data integrity.
