Roster

This domain represents coursework data as well as student-to-teacher links. Roster data submitted to WISEdata will use several endpoints that house many more individual data elements associated with each endpoint. The endpoints include:

/courses (populated by DPI, as DPI will provide the entire list and associated details for all course codes)

/staff (another DPI-populated endpoint using WISEid information)

Expected for the 2027-28 SY, the Ed‑Fi OneRoster® service will be adopted with Data Standard v6. It does not replace the Ed‑Fi ODS/API. Instead, it reads data from the same Ed‑Fi ODS and translates relevant Ed‑Fi entities into the smaller OneRoster rostering model. This means:

Ed‑Fi continues to be the authoritative source.
OneRoster consumers and Ed‑Fi consumers see the same underlying data.
